Having worked within the Automotive Design Industry for more than 20 years, I know how to think in the future when it comes to design. Finding new forms and being ahead of trends is something I am passionate about. Automotive Design can be up to four years in the making, from paper to production, so having to think ahead is a must.

This is defiantly something I have bought into my cake creations. Developing new skills to deliver you a showstopping centrepiece for your celebrations.

I use the very best ingredients and produce available. Trying my best to use as much locally sourced or U.K. products, and where I cannot I endeavour to use Ethically Sourced or Fair-Trade only.

Creating a bespoke cake that encapsulates your day and who you are is what drives me forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • My ethos for my business is to be as sustainable as possible and try my best to use as many reusable materials as possible, there as millions of straws and plastic dowels thrown away each year within the cake industry. I reuse my specially designed cake supports (which are returnable and reused) to lessen my effect on the environment along with other reusable equipment. All of my printing is done using vegetable ink, from a company 5 miles away from my studio. They also have a tree replanting scheme which is close to my heart.

  • As soon as possible. This past wedding season has been crazy for all of us wedding suppliers, and it looks as though the next few years will be the same. I work on my own, and can therefore only take on a certain number of cakes per month. If you would like to book me as your cake designer, but have not finalised all the details for your celebration, no worries, there will be plenty of time to design the perfect cake for you.

  • Both, I hold consultations here in my studio 3 times a year. Comprising of 5 signature cake samples and Prosecco. The appointment is for 1 1/2 hours. If you cannot make it to the studio, I have sample boxes that can be posted to you. Each box contains 5 of my signature flavours for you to try in the comfort of your own home. We can then arrange a virtual meeting via Zoom, where we can discuss your requirements for you cake, e.g., Design, Serving size, flavours etc.

  • The quote that I supply will be valid for 3 months. If this time frame elapses, I will have to review the quote again, as the cost of ingredients may have changed. The quote does not automatically hold the date for you. This is only secured by my receiving your booking fee.

  • I require a £100.00 booking fee to secure your date for all wedding cakes, Celebration cakes have a booking fee of £50.00 If the order and the booking is cancelled, it is unlikely that the Event date will be filled and the following cancellation charges will apply:

    * Two months or less - 100% of invoice cost * Two months or more - loss of booking fee

Wedding cakes placed within 8 weeks and celebration cakes placed within 2 weeks must be paid in full upon ordering.

  • The final balance less the booking fee will be due two months before the date of the Event as specified in the invoice. Orders placed less than eight weeks in advance of the delivery date must be paid in full. Failure to pay the final balance by the date stated on the invoice may result in the Order being cancelled. I will contact you, but if no payment is made, I will cancel the order with complete loss of booking fee and all previous monies paid. I accept payment by bank transfer, of which all banking details are on the invoice.

I do not accept payment via PayPal.

  • I have a number of cake stands that I will happily hire out. The charge for a stand is £15,00 with a £50 - £100 deposit, dependant on the stand. When the stand is returned to me within the 5 day returns policy, and I am satisfied that no damage has occurred, I will return the holding deposit.

Damage includes, but is not limited to, breakages, chips, scratches, staining (caused by any other means than from the cake), bent, dents, water damage, cracks, wax. I will not be held responsible for any damage made to the stand whilst it is in your safe keeping. If damage dose occur, I will retain the deposit as I will have to replace the stand.

Late returns of the stand will be charged at a £5.00 per day sur charge.

  • I do offer this service. I do allow collections of celebration cakes, but prefer to offer a hassle-free service when it comes to wedding cakes. The last thing you need is to worry about if your cake has arrived safely.

There is a lot that goes into delivering a cake, everything from the accessibility of the venue to distance travelled and the time to actually set up the cake.

Quotes will be given at the time of our consultation.

  • If you have to cancel your order for any reason the booking fee is non-refundable. And the following charges will incur.

    * Two months or less - 100% of invoice cost * Two months or more - loss of booking fee

If you have to re-arrange your date, the booking fee will be forfeited, and a new booking fee must be paid to secure your new date, any monies extra that were paid towards your original order will be carried forward. Please understand that your original order will be treated as cancelled. Any new date will be subject to availability, and subsequently subject to any price increase, due to rising costs.

  • Yes, I have gluten free, dairy free and vegan menus for you to take a look at. I do cater for nut free, but please be advised that nuts and nut products are both used within my kitchen. It will be your responsibility to advise any of your guests of this fact. I will therefore ask you to sign a disclaimer stating that you understand these terms.

  • My cakes are made with the finest ingredients that I can find, I try to use as much locally sourced, or U.K products as possible, but where I cannot, I endeavour to use Ethically Trading or Fair-Trade products only. All of my cakes, curds, buttercreams etc are made to order, so everything is fresh for you.

  • No, I specialise in Fondant and Chocolate Ganache covered cakes

  • If the cake has been cut and served, this will be taken that you, as the buyer, considered the product to be fit for purpose. This will waiver your rights for any sort of compensation. Where a discrepancy arises, proof must be provided within 24 hours of delivery (either in person or via photographic evidence) that a problem has arisen and that it was solely caused by the irrefutable fault of my business. Any dispute will be reviewed on an individual basis and may therefore be subject to a full or partial refund. If any decorations are added after the delivery and set up by myself, I am not responsible for any damage to the Cake, such as water from the flowers spoiling the icing.
